Mainframe Application Developer/Analyst

Business and Application Services (BAS) is the department within Group IT with the purpose to preserve, maintain and support Volvo Car Group's total application portfolio in the most effective, robust and secure way as part of our application life cycle management responsibility. Parts & Logistics is the area within BAS that covers all Aftermarket Parts & Logistics applications globally.

The PULS application is a global application supporting more than 45 warehouses around the world and is crucial for our aftermarket operations. The PULS team today consist of around 20 people located in Gothenburg and in Bangalore. The team are responsible for the operation, support and maintenance for PULS and all new development required supporting the business in both projects and SCRs.

We are now looking for a Mainframe Application Developer/Analyst with good business understanding. You should have experience from developing in mainframe applications and preferably experience from working as a business analyst on the border between IT and business, experience from the automotive business and especially in the aftermarket processes is an advantage.

Main responsibilities
Together with the team, work with development of new functionality with close cooperation with the business stakeholders
Be a part of upcoming modernization and modularization of PULS
You will drive the test or the release work in the team

Required qualifications
Mainframe / COBOL knowledge. DL/1- DB2 & SQL
IBM Mainframe
JCL
REXX, IMS
Assembler

Minimum 5 years of experience working with mainframe
Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
Experience from working with business requirements

Experience of agile processes and DevOps
Idz knowledge
