Support Engineer to an Expanding Finance Company

To succeed in this role you need to be communicative, supportive and eager to learn new technologies. You will find solutions to problems with the products, help investigate, diagnose and provide technical solutions doing root cause analysis for the incidents reported by our customers. To do so you will be required to know how to search and traverse through log files in Unix and understand java exceptions as well as stack traces. If you have experience working with one of the object relational database, this will be an advantage.

Requirements:

- 2+ years of technical experience in support role

- Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix

- Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Good analytical and problem solving skills

- Self-motivated and strong desire to solve customer problems 

- Experience with any incident management or bug tracking tool

Bonus skills:

- Knowledge of Java programming or any other programming language

- Experience with writing and understanding shell scripts

- Experience with PostgreSQL or SQL Server DB

- Degree in IT or Computer Science

- Foreign exchange market knowledge
