We are looking for a Virtual Reality virtuoso! At Ignation you will be unlocking innovation by developing and implementing innovative VR prototypes and solutions. The work can be for a client that has a specific problem, for which you and your talented colleagues came up with a solution. But it might as well start with you having a great idea for a product or service, which you and the team will develop at Ignation and then bring to clients. We develop with hardware, and we also develop mobile apps and web when we need that. On Friday afternoons we make, relax and experience without client work. We round up the week with some fun time. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
. You have a passion for creating innovative and exciting digital experiences
. You can design complex graphics and animation
. You can make objects or characters appear lifelike by manipulating light, colour, texture, shadow, and transparency, or manipulating static images to give the illusion of motion.
. You can create two-dimensional and three-dimensional images depicting objects in motion or illustrating a process.
. You can apply story development, directing, cinematography, and editing to animation to create storyboards that show the flow of the animation and map out key scenes and characters.
. You can create basic designs, drawings, and illustrations for product labels, cartons, direct mail, or television.
. You can take pen-and-paper images and make them scanned, edited, coloured, textured, or animated by computer.
. You can script, plan, and create animated narrative sequences under tight deadlines, using computer software and hand drawing techniques.
. You can convert real objects to animated objects through modelling, using techniques such as optical scanning.
. You have mobile game experience, specifically understanding customer preferences, engagement, and retention, is a plus
. You can conceptualize interesting and achievable VR interactions
. You have exceptional communication and presentation skills
. You have an ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up, juggling projects and developers

SKILLS NEEDED
. Unreal Engine Developer, C++
. Unity/UE, C#, World Space UI
. 3D VFX tools, e.g. 3ds Max, Maya, Houdini
. Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Samsung Gear VR, Google Cardboard/Daydream
. 3D modelling software, programming experience with several languages such as Python, C, C++, C#, Java
. Game development or graphics programming
. Good understanding of vector math and linear algebra for 3D graphics
. Experience with developing interactive VR experiences or games
. Development on embedded platforms such as mobile (Android, iOS) or game consoles
. Preferably you have a relevant college / university degree in, but alternatively your whole life spins around coding and cool techy things
