ADB SAFEGATE is currently seeking a Project- / System Engineer for Control Systems within the Airport environment with focus on gate operations.

As Project-/System Engineer you will get the opportunity to be operative in customer projects. You will be part of the System Engineering department who is responsible for the quality of project deliverables of all technical project tasks and assignments in Projects. When assigned to a project the Project-/System Engineer reports to the Project Manager who has the ultimate responsibility for projects.

You will belong to a global team but in Malmö we are a smaller team of five engaged and open minded members. Rikard who is the Team Leader for the team in Malmö has been in the company for around ten years and he has a lot of knowledge to share with you.

As we are working globally, this position may include approx. 30-50 travel days per year around the globe.

Job Description

The Project/System Engineer is responsible for the following:

Support to Sales department

• Support for technical specifications as part of the Sales process
• Interface specifications towards external system
• System descriptions and other relevant documentation
Support to customer projects

• Co-ordination and/or production of all technical activities in assigned projects
• Plan, schedule, perform and coordinate assigned engineering work
• Monitor work for compliance to applicable requirements, accepted engineering practices and ADB SAFEGATE standards
• Ensure effective communication, coordination and feedback in assigned projects to/from and between all other project participants
• Monitor and ensure contract requirements are successfully fulfilled with optimum customer satisfaction
Qualifications

Preferable you hold a bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science. We believe you have 1-2 years of experience in the field but are also interested in you who recently graduated if you have the right engagement and interest to learn to know the area. To handle the position as System-/Projects Engineer you need to have skills in systems, software engineering and system design. You have good knowledge of Operative systems, programming and design.

Meritorious is experience of customer driven project work and knowledge in .Net, Java or C++ and computer networks. Experience of technical project management is considered an advantage.

It is a requirement that you speak and write English fluently and it is also advantageous if you speak Swedish and/or additional language.
