As a Software Developer in Gothenburg, you will be developing software for several of our onboard applications, according to a defined EN 50128 standard, and compliant with Safety Integrity Level 4 development process. You will be mainly supporting a big, international project, for one of our customers abroad, but not exclusively. Most of the work is done in C++, in a Linux environment.

You will be creating a design based on the required specifications, and other steering documents. You will also be involved in implementing the design (coding). The work also includes development and maintenance of simulators, analyzers, and other tools which are needed.

This work is safety-critical in nature. This means that the product introduces special restrictions on design and implementation, and places the focus on testability, robustness, and availability.

Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science (or equivalent education)
Medium to senior experience in embedded software development (C++)
Used to writing technical documentation in English
Experience in using GIT Gerrit for version control and code review is an advantage
Very good communication skills in English is a requirement.
