Senior Systems Consultant Linux

Presently we are looking for a highly skilled Linux Technician with previous experience in operating business critical platforms. As our new Linux Technician you will fulfil a central and important role in a technical driven organization.

Basefarms OS & Support systems team is responsible for operating and developing Linux based infrastructure in all Basefarms datacentres. This includes, among other things, DNS, LDAP, Radius and CA UIM.

The team has 8 members located in Oslo, and we now wish to extend the team into Sweden and are looking for two new team members to join our Stockholm office.

So who are you?

We believe that you are accustomed to operate in business critical platforms and a highly skilled Linux Technician (RedHat is our preferred distro at the moment). Moreover, we are looking for a person who:

• has good general knowledge of infrastructure components like network, storage and virtualization.
• is experienced and methodical in scripting and programming
• understand the business impact of technologies and programming
• is passionate for technology
• is selfdriven and takes own initiatives
• is an individual contributor and team player

Skills and knowledge in some of the following technologies and concepts will be important:

• Cassandra
