Quality Analyst

Job description

You will be testing new development functionality and quality assure purchased systems in our development environment, such as:

- Regression testing before new releases to production environments
- Sanity/Smoke Testing after receiving new releases
- Exploratory testing to identify bugs and system deficiencies
- Ensuring that accounting verifications are correct, given different input data
- Are Bank/ERP/Print files generated correctly and containing correct data
- Are web service calls (XML/Soap + REST) working as intended and is the correct data returned
- Writing test cases for a newly developed functionality

You will be working in close co-operation with our Test Team, Product Team, internal Functions and our IT Development Team, and be a key player in the release process. Additionally, you will develop our automatic testing framework to ensure end-to-end quality across our products.

We believe you have/are:

- Is structured, careful and has an exceptional attention to detail
- Has experience from system architecture, system development, and software testing
- Has experience in functional testing/Non-Functional Testing and regression testing
- Knowledge in testing methodologies and modern techniques for software testing A great team player who likes to work together with other like-minded people. You also have great communication skills, both orally and in writing (English)

Experience from working with Jira and if you know simple programming languages, like SQL, Java or C#, and/or good understanding of Automated tools like Selenium and SpecFlow will be considered an advantage. It is also desirable that you have a certain degree of technical knowledge and an understanding of payments and/or a sales ledger system
