iZettle lets anyone take secure card payments with their smartphones or tablets. The fast-growing start-up was founded in 2010 and currently has approximately 170 employees across its offices in Berlin, London, Madrid, Mexico City, Sao Paulo and Stockholm (HQ).
We're looking for a brilliant developer to join iZettle at our HQ in Stockholm. In our tech team, which currently consists of about 45 people, you'll find self-directed teams within Test, DevOps, Android, iOS, Security, Backend, Support, Web and Project Management. We have a passionate, open and friendly culture and we're constantly reviewing our work, learning from each other, and sharing our knowledge.
Responsibilities:
Naturally, there's always something new and exciting going on. Some things we're working on right now are: our global and distributed payments platform, site reliability, performance optimization, external APIs, security and fraud analysis. But while these are complex challenges, they're all hidden behind a beautiful and easy to use customer interface. The way we see it, great code is the way to go in turning the rocket science that is the global payments system into everyday life.
Requirements:
You're a proven developer and are perhaps looking for the next big thing? We assume you have a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject. You should be familiar with issues of large-scale system performance and growth, and also have solid hands-on experience with many of the technologies currently in use. Furthermore, you possess the ability to work independently in a fast-paced organization.
Being part of our software engineering team will no doubt make you feel like a pioneer. You'll have the opportunity to solve cutting edge technical challenges, with the help from a bunch of other amazing developers.
