Web Development Specialist

Within our team for web, digital marketing and branding, we handle the day-to-day management of the business area’s digital channels. Our responsibilities include, for example, channel strategy, communication concept, digital marketing and various types of web projects. An important task is the development of our external web presence to meet the present and future needs of our customers and other target groups.

Now, we are looking for a Web Development Specialist to join our newly established function for Branding and Digital Marketing within Sandvik Materials Technology – someone who finds motivation in the opportunity to lead and participate in web development projects and other initiatives enhancing our online presence.

Your challenge
In this position, you are a key person in web development projects and interact closely with, for example, our product areas and external agencies to ensure delivery of specified results. You identify needs and possibilities, specify requirements to external agencies, ensure testing of new functionality and are involved in defining points of measurement and follow up. You monitor trends within the web area and suggest initiatives for an industry-leading online presence and user experience. In addition, you are a skilled user in web-related platforms and tools, act as a technical advisor and provide education and support to the organization.

We are looking for someone with a degree in an area such as digital marketing technology or computer engineering; alternatively, you have acquired equivalent knowledge through solid work experience. You have a technical understanding for web development and great experience from managing web development projects. You are also used to being a contact person for 3rd party suppliers. You have skills in various systems for web content management and analytics, such as EPiServer and Google Analytics. You have experience in web standards, accessibility, responsive design, SEO, web analytics and measurement on a comprehensive level so you can provide great advice throughout the entire digital work. Strong troubleshooting, and technical skills. Knowledge in CSS, Javascript, and HTML5 is meritorious.

As we are based in Sweden and operate in a global setting, your communication skills in both Swedish and English must be excellent.
