Your next challenge We are searching for a solution architect with deep expertise in the areas of cloud, virtualization and NFV to assist VNF owners/admins with technical NFVI related issues. You should be a person open for new challenges and willing to push yourself outside your comfort zone. You should be customer oriented, willing to understand and focus on issues of VNF owners, while having deep expertise of the NFVI platform we are building. You should have both hands-on experience troubleshooting NFV environments as well as a sound architectural view to be able to translate the needs of VNFs onto the platform.

You You are a senior programmer in at least 2 different programing languages (Python and Java preferred). You have deep knowledge of modern scripting languages such as Puppet, Salt, Ansible or equivalent that could be used for automation.

You have extensive experience in the area of compute virtualization (Linux KVM, VMware ESXi, vCenter, etc), and wide experience in the area of networking virtualization including VXLAN, SR-IOV, virtual TAP interfaces, etc. A sound understanding of software defined networks, e.g., VMware NSX, Cisco ACI, Juniper Contrail or equivalent is expected.

You have a sound understanding of distributed software defined storage systems such as RedHat’s CEPH, VMware ScaleIO, and VMWare vSAN You have proven track record troubleshooting technical issues of high complexity in a virtualized environment, spanning from virtualization management, application, virtualized networking and storage. We expect a positive “can do” attitude to support our stakeholders and other teams, and of course the ability to work in cross-functional teams, interfacing multiple external teams in a support type of role.

Education Master of Science in Data, Computer Sciences or Engineering
