Development project manager Nasdaq CSD

Nasdaq Technology is now looking for a Development Project Manager to join the Nasdaq Central Securities Depository (Nasdaq CSD) team in Stockholm. You will sit in the renovated former Ford assembly plant in Frihamnen, in our spacious and open plan factory-style campus which houses 700 of Nasdaq’s IT talent across many departments including engineering, architecture, development and verification.

About the team, role and responsibilities:

As Development Project Manager you will be part of an international development team that serves customers and delivers solutions to market places across the globe. In collaboration with various departments you will play a key role in the delivery of technology solutions of varying sizes to new and existing customers.

Lead software development projects for Nasdaq’s CSD customers.
Overall responsibility for software development projects and deliveries to customers from planning stage to delivery.
Plan, lead and follow-up during all stages of development according to Nasdaq product development life-cycle.
Project budget responsibility and follow-up.
Work in tight collaboration with other development departments within Nasdaq in addition to product management, sales and account management.
Manage customer expectations and develop customer relationships.
Take an active part in improving our delivery methodology, supporting tools and processes.

Education Required: Degree qualified in a discipline related to Computer Science.
Experience Required: total of 6 to 8 years of relevant experience.
At least 2 years leading projects with proven experience driving development projects from start to finish.
Knowledge in Java development.
Experience in working with projects with both agile and classic waterfall methods.
Previous experience of financial systems or other data intensive systems.
Excellent communication skills – both English and Swedish, written and verbal
Knowledge in testing and Linux/Unix environment is meritorious.
