Linux / Unix Analyst

NASDAQ is currently looking for a Linux / Unix Analyst within the Nordic NOC team at the Stockholm office.

Within this role the responsibility will be to maintain 100% uptime on the system as well as making sure that we are always delivering within our SLA agreements.

NASDAQ’s Nordic NOC team is responsible for designing, configuring, functional testing, performance testing, implementing and monitoring new technical solutions for the Nordic INET platform and its surrounding systems. The Nordic NOC can be seen as an application group but our responsibilities don’t end there - we are working closely with the OS, network, development and project team and our troubleshooting dig deep into network and OS areas as well. We have a rotating 24/5 on-call schedule which translates into having on-call one week a month.

Bachelor of Science or equivalent
3+ years of relevant working experience would be a merit
Excellent language skills in written and spoken English and Swedish
Experienced user of Linux/Unix
Broad technology base and wide range technology knowledge from infrastructure to functionality
Knowledge of scripting is a big advantage (perl, bash)
Knowledge in Windows is an advantage
Knowledge in software support, surveillance and operations is an advantage
Understanding of financial business is a plus
Experience from working with “real time systems” is an advantage
Attention to details, problem solving and sense of responsibility
