Test Automation Engineer

Currently NASDAQ is expanding the team in Stockholm and is looking for a Test Automation Engineer

Working tasks:

This is an extraordinary opportunity to join the world’s leading exchange company as a Test Automation Engineer in the Nasdaq Clearing Team at NASDAQ. You will be part of a team responsible for delivering a highly sophisticated Clearing system to major customers around the world. It is an advanced system with very high demands on quality and performance and it is built with leading edge Java technology and tools.

The work is done in cross-functional scrum teams. You will work as a technical tester, developing and executing functional and non-functional test scenarios in a Nasdaq test tool suite; including support for test automation, performance test and manual test.

This position is an exciting opportunity to develop your personal, technical, and leadership skills while gaining an extensive knowledge of the exchange industry in general and the Clearing domain in particular.

University degree in computer science, information technology, software development or similar
At least 3 years of experience in test automation
At least 3 years of experience in test automation
At least 5 years of work experience in Java application development with special focus on:
Java SE
API and Code generation frameworks
GUI development such as Java FX
Spring
Work experience of Maven and Subversion
Work experience of Linux and databases
Effective communicator as the role will require ability to liaise with development / business teams and with clients
Excellent language skills in written and spoken English
Additional qualifications:

Experience from working with financial systems especially clearing/settlement systems
GIT
Work experience with Grails
