Developer - Services Test (194315)

We are looking for newly graduates or up to 3 years experienced Software Developers with a passion for large scale continuous integration, cloud trouble-shooting, and test automation, enjoys new challenges and are eager to explore a wide range of new technologies which will enable the Network Society and Internet of Things (IoT).

As a person, you are social, curious, makes things happen and are keen to learn and improve things. You are interested in people, have good communication skills and want to have fun at work.

You will be working in a Scrum team that perform activities such as:
•Component and service integration in IaaS and CaaS environments
•System Test analysis and development of automated test cases
•Contributing to inner source communities.
•Troubleshooting of problems together with design organizations from all over Ericsson global organization
•Large scale CI development and visualization

To be a successful candidate you have:

•A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering
•Experience of Object Oriented programming in Java
•Good cooperation & communication skills and ability to work in teams with diverse background
•Excellent skills in spoken and written English

Good to have:

•Experience of continuous integration, preferably using Jenkins, GIT, Maven and Gerrit
•Experience from trouble-shooting in virtualized/cloud environments- , such as VMware or OpenStack
•Experience of High Availability systems, Linux & IP networks
•Distributed systems/clusters, virtualization- and container technologies, such as KVM, Docker and Kubernetes
•Web development knowledge, including REST, Spring framework (using Java) or JavaScript

Our Product Development Unit provide all the common building blocks needed to enable our application to meet todays and tomorrow’s needs, e.g. Cloud and Internet of Things deployments in the Networked Society. We are thereby a corner stone of the Ericsson strategy. Reuse is an important factor in this, thus we are engaged and contributes in Open Source communities.

We have a highly international environment with possibility for collaboration with our Research & Development centers all around the world.
We are located in Kista, Stockholm with Software design centers in Montreal, Budapest and Pagani.
We collaborate with suppliers in Australia, Vietnam, Russia and India.

We work in cross functional teams utilizing Lean/Agile, Scrum/Kanban, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery methodologies, where we continuously improve our tools and ways of working. We are always eager to take in new ideas that will increase our product and development performance.
