Position: Research Engineer in intelligent energy systems
Location: Malmö or Karlshamn, Sweden.
About the company: NODA is an innovation based IT company active at the forefront of intelligent energy systems. Our partners are utilities, energy service operators and automation companies on a European market. We are active in several international research and innovation projects.
About the position: The primary focus of this position it is to participate in the on-going innovation process including algorithm development and prototype implementation in the areas of machine learning, artificial intelligence and other application domains relating to intelligent energy systems. Additional tasks include, but are not limited to, surveying relevant research areas and to support the innovation team in keeping up to date, cooperating with research and development partners in on-going innovation projects and to support the software development team when implementing research results.
About you: We expect that you are social and used to taking responsibility for your actions. We work in small groups and each person needs to be self propelled and structured in their work. You can communicate in English without any problems, in speech as well as in writing. You have at least a Master's degree, but probably a PhD, in Computer Science or another related area of research. You have documented experience in turning algorithms into code to make sure they work in practice (or at least in simulations), probably using tools such as Python or MATLAB.
