Backend Developer

You will develop backend systems/APIs on time according to the Sitoo model, in line with the Sitoo product roadmap and ongoing scrum processes. You will also follow the Sitoo development process including documentation, quality assurance and other guidelines. Right now you are really sharp on PHP, database programming such as MySQL and how to integrate other Saas Services using REST APIs, web services or similar.

- 3+ years of recent experience as a backend developer using PHP or similar.
- Understanding of database programming such as MySQL or similar, and how to integrate other SaaS Services using REST APIs, web services or similar.
- Higher level of technical education or hands-on experience with a self-made track record.
- Fluent in Swedish as well as in English, both spoken and written. Any other language is a plus.
- Conceptual; Understands the power of conceptualizing, deals with complexity comfortably by having ability to simplify.
- Curious; Interest and ability to learn and understand new concepts, tools and methods quickly.
- Structured; Plans to approach work in a step by step manner.
- Pragmatic; Hands-on and knows how to prioritize. Get shit done.
- People skills; Has ability to build relationships to build and keep teams together.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a person with the ability to develop and deliver on time according to set plans and specifications. We hope that you have a pre-emptive troubleshooting ability (understanding of unforeseen implications and steps needed in order to prioritize for best results).
You will be responsible to quality assure personally delivered applications/functionalities and ensure that proper Sitoo documentation and other routines are implemented in the software development processes. You are also a constructive team player in the Sitoo tech team, and will work according to Sitoo development practises and make sure set standards are met.
