Academic Work is on behalf of our client Atlas Copco looking for a Software Tester to the Station Critical Software Department within our business area Industrial Technique.

This recruitment process is conducted by Academic Work and the request from Atlas Copco is that all questions regarding the position is handled by Academic Work.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
We are looking for a software tester who wants to be part of developing new products within our R&D department. You will take part in developing unit tests, acceptance tests and manual tests. In time, you will also provide support for any automation that members of our embedded software department might need. You will work closely with both testers and developers, but also other parts of our organization such as for example service and marketing.

As we combine benefits of a large business with the entrepreneurial spirit of a smaller operation, this position will make you a part of a stimulating environment and provide you with a wide range of development opportunities. Overall, the R&D department consists of 300 people, why there are great possibilities to grow in different directions within the business area.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
* You hold a Bachelor or Master of Science in Software Engineering or similar.
* To thrive in this position you need experience in working with complex software systems as well as a good understanding of how automated testing should be built and used. Parts of the testing will be manual and experience in exploratory testing will be valued.
* Prior experience with Python and C++ is a plus.
* Fluency in English and/or Swedish, written and spoken, is of great importance.
* As part of our tightly-knit team it is important that you thrive in collaborations and are open to further development and changes. You are quality conscious and enjoy solving and analyzing problems that might occur. The ability to run your own processes and take initiatives are other important qualities.
