Application Administrator

Group IT is a cross-border organization with 1500 IT employees spread across all home markets, located in Stockholm Umeå, Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius. Group IT is responsible for IT management in ensuring the long-term focus of IT and adaptation to the bank's business strategies. Last but not least, Group IT deliver a range of IT services to the bank, including development and maintenance.

About the job The Deposit and Cash management domain is big, both in terms of number of projects and technical challenges. Payments & Deposit is a part of the Group Products division within IT development in Swedbank IT. We are currently 80 people in our department located in Stockholm, Vilnius, Tallinn, and Riga.

In the role of Application Administrator, you will work with bank business and IT systems interaction analysis as well as project and maintenance support. Your tasks will be to:

Take care of the daily application delivery and also be a part in development projects and set business requirements for general ledger/ deposit product.
Manage maintenance activities and solve problems and incidents.
Ensure that we correct errors in applications and report bugs, as well as testing of changes.
Ensure that we have correct data in test environments.
Manage maintenance activities and solve problems in order to secure Service Level Targets.
Continuously work with setting and improving processes related to the general ledger/ deposit.
Actively contribute to a good and close relationship with Business Service Manager as well as external vendors.
What you need to succeed To excel in this role, we believe that you have:

Several year of IT design and development experience
COBOL experience
Mainframe experience
Good analytical skills and accuracy
Good communication skills in English and Swedish
Also it is a plus if you have:

Business knowledge in Deposit area.
Knowledge of integration, files transfer, messaging and database integration.
