Industrial Control IT within Scania IT is responsible for delivering .NET products to secure daily business operation and accelerate business development within Production & Logistic. We are a small team, highly skilled and committed with considerable job satisfaction and good opportunities for personal development. We are constantly striving to improve both systems and work processes. The team is involved in the entire system development process, from concept development to implementation and maintenance. We are aiming for self-supporting teams with focus on quality assurance. We have an agile way of working and develop and support different applications built in .NET mostly for Industrial Control, Production and Logistic.

Your role
We can offer you a role as a member  of a development team with a principal focus on development deliverables. You will adopt an agile approach to work, with technical variation and customer/business contact.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in IT or equivalent experience, complemented with a minimum of two year’s developing experience in .NET and a significant interest in IT.
 
We also think you have:

An interest in building reusable and modular IT solutions
Good knowledge of .NET and Microsoft-like products (e.g. C#, MVC, TFS, SQL server)
The commitment and motivation to work with others to deliver, simplify , explore and improve
Good knowledge of JavaScript and AngularJS
Experience of agile team work
Knowledge of writing unit tests

We expect applicants to be curious, have excellent problem-solving skills and to have a genuine interest in developing in the role as system developer. To be successful in this role you will also need to have good communication skills and feel comfortable working closely with several parties within the business. As the corporate language is English, you need to be proficient in written and spoken English.
