Zynapp, a Swedish startup company with an attractive vision, has since the past few years been working on the development for their mobile application and have now reached the point where it is time to blow the big horn and go global. The company currently consists of 20 employees located in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Karlstad. Academic Work has been entrusted to recruit new colleagues to the centrally located office in Karlstad, where you will join a team that, just like you, share a strong passion for backend development.

We are looking for several people and therefore we are in the search for those interested in traditional backend work where database connectivity is the main focus, but also those who like working with system integration and APIs. Please specify in your letter of motivation which of these two genres you would prefer working in.

Zynapp is a software mobile application built to organize all digital footprints the user leaves behind. In a new and groundbreaking way the app helps the user find and tailor information related to names, time and location. The logic of the application is based on the synapses of the brain, and the target of the company is to reach 100 million users globally.

This recruitment process is conducted by Academic Work and the request from Zynapp is that all questions regarding the position is handled by Academic Work.

Academic Work is responsible for the recruitment process but the candidate that proceed will be employed directly by Zynapp.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As a backend developer you will be engaged in a team with other developers, working agile with sprints set every other week. You will be operating in an environment strongly dominated by SCRUM, Java, Git, XML, JSON etc. Tasks depend on chosen work genre, please see following text for specific information.

Within Backend Core & Application you will:

* Create solutions with typical topics such as account management, user data administration and consistency, and database optimization in SQL.
* Ensure acceptable user responses in app, data encryptions, adding tags to footprints etc.

Within Backend System Integration you will:

* Develop and understand API documentation along with implementing these according to current demands.

* Create integration solutions focusing on authorization, synchronization and data consistency

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
We are looking for you who loves development and shares Zynapps perception that the user is the one who should be in control of its applications, and not the other way around. Most likely you will have an academic degree, although this is not a criteria in order to be relevant for the positions. Our main focus is your passion for development, therefor your knowledge of creating code is in focus and not your work experience.

Specifically required expertise:

* Good knowledge of SQL if you are looking to work with Core & Applications
* Experience working with APIs especially if your interest relates to System Integration
* Proficiency in spoken and written English as you will be working in an international environment.
