Zynapp, a Swedish startup company with an attractive vision, has since the past few years been working on the development for their mobile application and have now reached the point where it is time to blow the big horn and go global. The company currently consists of 20 employees located in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Karlstad. Academic Work has been entrusted to recruit new colleagues to the centrally located office in Karlstad, where you will join a team that, just like you, share a strong passion for development.

Zynapp is a software mobile application built to organize all digital footprints the user leaves behind. In a new and groundbreaking way the app helps the user find and tailor information related to names, time and location. The logic of the application is based on the synapses of the brain, and the target of the company is to reach 100 million users globally.
This recruitment process is conducted by Academic Work and the request from Zynapp is that all questions regarding the position is handled by Academic Work.

Academic Work is responsible for the recruitment process but the candidate that proceed will be employed directly by Zynapp.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As a Release-Manager you will be in a technical leader position where you will be responsilbe during software releases and to ensure that releases are done with best possible quality. You will be involved during the entire development process, from beginning to end and maintain a management responsibility for the software. Your role will also be to inform colleagues in your team whenever the process takes a new direction, or the software development is temporarily shut down.

For example, you will:

* Be Zynapps configuration master and collect commits from developers, which you use to build releases for the develop, acceptans and production environment.
* You will make sure that the essential acceptance tests and reports have been performed before released to production.
* Work in a development environment dominated by Scrum, Git, Jenkins, Itunes Connect, Google Play developers console etc.
* Be responsible for your own availability. Because of the market being worldwide, your working hours may have to be adjusted and some meetings will take place outside regular office- hours
* Work in close collaboration with your team and partners to enable and maintain the functions needed to the users

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
Zynapp is interested in candidates that enjoy working with development, and share Zynapps point of view - that the uses shall control the applications, not the other way around. You have a university degree in computer science or have gained similar experiences in your working life.

* You are well familiar with GIT and Jenkins, as well as you have some experiences from using global cloud services.
* You have knowledge within Scrum, Itunes Connect, Google Play developers console etc.
* You have good knowledge in English, both written and speaking, since all communication will be held in English
* You have some experiences releasing apps to public from market places like Appstore and Play Store
* You can work under a reasonable amount of stress. You can stay calm and effective during working peaks.

As a person, you are structured and able to progress your work either working in a team or individually. In your role, you aim to be the link between “the human and the technique”. You make sure to get the job done in order to meet deadlines, and in the sametime guarantee a high quality to your work. As a start-up company, and the global actor that Zynapp is, it is important that you are able to handle working peaks and fast working pace.
