Job Summary:

We are now looking for a Developer to maintain products (units, nodes, networks, systems and solutions). Your role will include all development activities such as: requirement analysis, system design, architecture design, hardware design, software design, integration, verification, simulations, tools design, Product Lifecycle Management support and product documentation. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

Building an efficient microwave backhaul network with end-to-end performance in mind, requires high node capacity, compact and modular building practice and features that respond to demanding customer needs.

Position Summary

As a Software developer with one or two years of experience you will design & maintain Ericsson’s world leading microwave mobile backhaul products, including activities such as requirement analysis, SW and system design, test, integration, product lifecycle management and documentation.
You will be part of a high performing organization that works with agile methodology in a multi-site development team. Our R&D teams drive the evolution of the Network products from analysis, design, integration and test including early deployment in customer networks around the world.

Responsibilities & Tasks

Typical responsibilities for a Software/System team member in the Framework group:

Analysis for new functionality and design proposal
Writing code in Java, build and test your code
Prototyping activities including scripting and debugging
Perform Trouble Shooting and act proactively to internal customer technical questions
Spend time exploring new ideas to address future opportunities and improvements of Products and Processes
Perform Continuous Analysis and Requirement Handling
Develop and Test High Quality Software
Perform Trouble Shooting and Customer Support
Drive Continuous Improvements of Products and Processes

BSc level in Computer Science with strong background in design or similar
