As part of Tetra Pak´s Development organisation, the Supply Chain Operations Industrial Base Management is responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing world class converting solutions, enabling Tetra Pak to deliver competitive packaging solutions.
The Automation development team ownership is growing and today supports the projects with software solutions, electrical design, training both internally and to our converting factories in all converting technology areas.
We are the global owner of the automation converting specifications related to tools, methods and standards for converting equipment design.

As a Senior Automation Engineer - Industrial IT you will work in technology and product development projects, from initial ideas to automation/industrial IT solu-tions ready for deployment in our converting factories. You will be part of cross-functional project teams, and working close to our suppliers. The position offers you to develop your expertise in a broad technical area covering the full converting line process and its different technologies in a cross-functional team.

The position is based in Lund and could require travelling about 20% of your time.

Main responsibilities
.Coordinate development of the next generation digitalised print and automated solutions
.Design automation/industrial IT software solutions and applications according to legal demands, corporate standards and product specifications covering Tetra Pak converting process

Qualifications
We are looking for a collaborative colleague to our skilled team with a strong and broad technical interest. You have a creative as well as an analytical mindset, and the ability to realise a vision into reality. You enjoy teamwork and are a clear communicator. Last, but not least, we think you are change oriented and able to engage people around you.

You have a solid background within automation with focus on industrial IT, preferably with expe-rience from Siemens Automation system and high level programming such as .Net, C#, VB, C++.
We also believe that you have some experience from programming SCADA systems in the view of Industrial IT.
Should you have interest in or knowledge about concepts like "smart factories", Internet of Things" and "Industry 4.0", this would be highly valuable.
Your educational background is probably a university degree in Electrical, Computer or Industrial IT Engineering.
