Our clients can freely mix and match models, body variation and styling items. To create this flexibility, each base body splits up in 800 digital assets. We’ve migrated away from physical data centers and use 150-200 cloud-based auto-scaling instances to follow the daily and seasonal production of our clients with a current peak load of 8000 images per day. We freely innovate over our code base split in 100 services. And we are not done. We continue to invest 30% of our income on further developing our products.

As a small team, every developer truly makes a difference from the front-end to the back, as well as creating and modifying GUIs of internal and external tooling. The backend platform is deployed on top of Google Cloud Platform, automatically scaling to reflect our client’s seasonal demand as well as giving us a platform for easy deployment. The main programming language is Java 8, with advanced image recognition algorithms implemented in C++, and web front ends in Javascript.

Your days at Looklet:
Nurturing a DevOps culture, every developer is responsible for quality. We believe your role is to challenge quality at the next level, finding the tricky outliers. Together with the team, you would be suggesting system and process what problems to look for and how to find them most efficiently.

You will be part of the development leadership team at Looklet making sure developers can efficiently deliver value. Your responsibilities will be around making sure our clients know has a high perception around the quality of our products. Looklet is a growing agile organization, we expect you to see the possibilities of evolving with the organization according to business need and your desire.

We believe you have a strong sense of product quality and a pragmatic view on how to achieve it. Combining hardware construction, software development and high-quality fashion photos all have different quality aspects and we believe your overall approach to quality will help our development teams to identify ways to make sure we deliver a top quality result.

As an Agile Test Lead you will be:

Creating and evolving a quality assurance strategy
Coordinating any manual testing efforts
Coordinating development efforts of automatic testing
Coaching development teams on increasing quality long-term
Creating tests/protocols and executing some parts of the process
As Release Manager your responsibilities will, among other things, include:

Maintaining and evolving a smooth release process
Coordinating releases between the internal stakeholders such as account managers, support engineers, product experts and developers.
Making sure our important releases doesn’t get delayed
Expectations management, creating transparency around content and risk for a release
Facilitate issue triage meetings with internal stakeholders to make sure we address critical product issues

How to be successful in the recruitment process:

7 years+ experience with software development
3 years+ experience test lead, driving quality, creating test and testing systems
3 years+ experience agile development
You are heavily organization savvy and get things done
You love to troubleshoot and solve complex issues as you find them
Your accountability is through the roof, you take ownership of issues and see them through to delivery
You are able to inspire and convince internal and external through excellent verbal and written communication skills
You are flexible to react to changing priorities, multi-tasking and deliver on set deadlines
