Senior Software Developer - Cloud

We have an opportunity for a Senior Software Developer to join our team. Do you want to be part of a highly skilled and performing team? Then continue reading, we are looking for a senior developer with experience in cloud based infrastructure.

Your main purpose would be to reinforce the Platform Development & Core Services line with knowledge in the area of loosely coupled & distributed backend development. You accompanied with the team will mainly participate in system design and architecture work of the backend for refactoring and new development. Above that you will be responsible for strengthening future cloud based systems and distributed architecture.

The Platform Development & Core Services team consists of 7 talented members and is placed in our Software Development department. The team is hard working and continues to push limits, the environment encourage innovation and information sharing. You will have the opportunity to grow professionally from other skilled senior developers as the team has a strong feedback culture and find joy in challenging and pushing each other.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and test integration of cloud based systems
• Examine and evaluate cloud based systems relative to our purpose
• Analysis and design work for non-functional requirements
• REST API development and ownership of the APIs
• Development of Libraries, Frameworks and Tools
• Coordinating requirements across the organization
• Maintenance and support
• Assist in quality and test work

Required Qualifications

• University Degree in Engineering
• 5+ year experience in the field of backend development with system design and architecture
• Knowledge of cloud based infrastructure for hosting test and production environment
• Understanding of production and IT operations to develop, choose and deliver tools
• REST API development
• Distributed System Design/Development
• Java, REST, Spring/Spring MVC, HTTP(S),
• Continuous Integration, Maven or equivalent
• Relational Database

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience of Web services, SOA, Microservices
• Cloud Computing/Platform Services, i.e. AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
• Experience or knowledge of distributed systems
• Knowledge of database development, RDBMS or NoSQL
• Java Certifications
