RedBridge has been a successful company within the field of Open Source and usable, stable and maintainable solutions for several years already. In our continued expansion of our software engineering division we are now looking for a couple of full-stack software developers with a good understanding of writing backend code for the JVM and an equally solid understand of making that very backend usable through good UI-code.

You will be a valuable member that further strengthens our already solid team of proven software engineers and since our company's tagline is "Let's build your future, together!" we think that you also want to help our customers step into their own future with modern, performant and maintainable software solutions, which you will help to build.

To be successful as a software engineering consultant at RedBridge you must have a genuine interest in your trade and ideally you should be able to back this up by some years of experience as a systems engineer in real-world projects.

You should be a curious go-getter who is not shy to communicate ideas to clients, or your mates back at the office. If you show interest or already know languages or technologies which are not yet "industry standard" we see that as a strong plus. Also, since we have clients in different sectors with both a strongly local and strongly international profile it is necessary that you understand both English and Swedish well.

Technologies that we use regularly and that are a definite strong-point if you are familiar with them:

• Java and other JVM-based languages (and yes, don't be shy to mention Kotlin).
• Java EE and/or Spring.
• JavaScript/Flow/Typescript (and naturally a framework such as React or Angular).
• Infrastructure automation through Puppet/Chef/Ansible/Kubernetes/Docker.
• Wildfly, Tomcat, Spring Boot or other Middleware(-ish) aids to your development efforts.
• Jenkins, Maven/Gradle and other CI/CD-tools to automate building, testing and deployment.
• Several Linux-tools that aid in hunting down bugs, increasing performance and aid in deployments.

RedBridge began operations in 2003 with the vision of helping our customers to implement a cost efficient IT environment based on Open Source and Open Standards. Initially, our focus was on migrating customers to Linux as a server platform, but over time we have successfully addressed a wealth of areas including systems, databases, infrastructure and operations.
