Senior iOS Developer

Want to work as a Senior iOS Developer in a fast-growing startup company in the FinTech sector? Read on! We are now looking for a key member to join our development team and help us expand further, creating and developing a banking app that people love to use. At Qapital you will work as part of a fantastic and international team, in beautiful offices from Stockholm to New York City.

Responsibilities

- Feature development - Participation all the way from design, through implementation, and testing (automated and manual)

- Advance the technical platform - Drive the architectural design of components used throughout the application forwards
- Advocate for technical changes, not driven by feature development

- Mentoring more junior developers
- Provide technical support for the product, as needed
- Be aware of company key metrics, and actively contribute towards them
- Lead development projects to completeness
- Take part in the recruitment process - Participate in interview and evaluate coding assignments

Skills and requirements

Most importantly we want someone who thinks outside the standard conventions and contributes with new interesting ideas on how to build immersive interfaces that feel alive.

- At least ~5 years of programming experience (not necessarily iOS)
- Proven experience of iOS UI development. Either past employment or open source projects
- Genuine interest in making your UI feel fluent and alive
- Experience with Swift and ReactiveCocoa are big advantages
- Experience in programming languages other than Swift and Objective-C is a plus
