Software Developer

We are looking for engaged and talented Software Engineers to join us in the development of our next generation processing and visualization software for medical images. Being part of the application development team you will work with advanced 3D image processing, visualization, quantification and reporting. As a qualified candidate you will demonstrate strong problem solving and coding skills as well as solid debugging and testing skills. You are; passionate about medical imaging and associated technology, excellent in cross group communication, self-motivated, self-directed and able to work constructively with a wide variety of personalities. You should be comfortable working with an internationally distributed team in a regulated software development environment.

Responsibilities
• Participate in all phases of the software development process, including requirements definition, analysis and design, implementation and debugging, unit testing and developer verification.
• Determine and communicate user requirements and informed feedback on usability with the software developer group and with management.
• Plan, coordinate and manage overall field and usability tests
• Provide a final test report to project team.
• Help determine technical approaches using best practices.
• Analyze customer product issues within released applications and follow up with developers to get it resolved.
• Generate and maintain software documentation required for the project according to the Company’s policies and procedures.

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Master’s degree in Computer Science preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience using C++ and experience with Development Environments, Debugging Tools and Test Management is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in DICOM and Image Processing is required.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming and system design and medical devices or medical software is preferred.
• Knowledge of data properties from SPECT, PET and CT scanners and their use in oncology and radiology preferred.
• Knowledge of ITK, VTK or similar image processing and graphics libraries preferred.
• Knowledge of software lifecycle processes or other highly regulated environment is preferred.
