Senior Developer Java/.Net

About the team, role and responsibilities

In the position as Senior Developer Java/.Net, you will work in a small team with support, maintenance and development of applications. You will be involved in requirements, design, development, test and contribute to architecture with a focus on scalability, maintainability, security and performance. You will work in close collaboration with our customers, Nasdaq business, infrastructure support and development teams and have responsibility to deliver on time, within budget and with quality.

Nasdaq is now looking for a Senior Developer Java/.Net with a working experience of back-office/insurance/banking systems to join at the Stockholm office. Located in the renovated former Ford assembly plant in Frihamnen, our spacious and open plan factory-style campus houses 700 of Nasdaq’s IT talent across many areas such as engineering, architects, development, infrastructure and testers.

Education, Professional accomplishments, and Certifications:
•Degree qualified in a discipline related to Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.

Skills, Requirements and Competencies:
•5+ years working experience of .Net and java development in "enterprise" environment
•Deep knowledge of design patterns, best practices, and modern software architecture
•Experience of complex integration solutions and transaction intensive applications
•Knowledge of technologies such as Java frameworks: Spring, JPA, Camel, Mule, Quartz, String integration and .Net. Technologies: Web Services, Websphere MQ, SFTP, XML.
•A strong customer service/support background
•To suit this position you are logical, accurate, like to work individually and as a team-player and have high focus to deliver in time with quality. You are used to assume responsibility and to work in a flexible way.
