Prototype Developer – Customer Adaptations, Connected Services & Solutions

Do you want to develop Scania’s future business models, in close and transparent cooperation with Scania customers? We are now looking for an experienced full-stack developer to join a prototyping team that is currently being formed. You will work in close collaboration with selected Scania customers and we therefore believe that you are enthusiastic about figuring out what the user needs in order to steer a transport business effectively. We also believe that you feel comfortable directing your own work in building everything that is needed from backend to frontend and in delivering working software in short iteration cycles.
 
Job description
You and your team will be responsible to develop prototype applications and Minimal Viable Products that allow transport companies to manage their operation more effectively. You will play an important role in our customer-driven service development, based on close and transparent cooperation with selected customers. Your products will be small-scale solutions, aiming at broader implementation should the concept show significant business potential. One of your first challenges will probably be to, together with HAVI and McDonald’s, develop a tool that continuously track the sustainability performance in McDonald’s supply chain.
 
Background and skills

Fluent English at professional business level is required
You have significant experience in developing applications using .NET/C#, Javascript/Node.JS/AngularJS/React/D3.JS, SQL or NoSQL, and AWS
You are willing to use prototyping tools and learn new frameworks and languages when beneficial
We believe that you have a relevant university degree
