Java SW Developer at Sony Mobile Communications in Lund, Sweden

Job Description
R&D IT Solutions is a global organization with responsibility for all IT systems which support the Product Development within Sony Mobile. R&D IT Solutions is part of Corporate IT. Main locations are Lund, Beijing and Tokyo.   
 
We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic and eager to learn SW developer with very good or excellent Java skills. Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) will be the main focus area and you will be responsible for the development of the PLM system and the system landscape together with other Developers within R&D IT Solutions.

Knowledge of the Dassault 3D Experience platform is beneficial but not a requirement. Some of your main responsibility will be to code new features according to requirements, functional and technical specifications. As well as making software stability and performance analysis and then implement and/or suggest improvements. Run and monitor performance tests on new and existing software for the purposes of correcting mistakes, isolating areas of improvement and general debugging. We are working with web technology.
 
The company and customers are global so a good understanding of and respect for different cultures is natural. As an individual you must be able to have many things ongoing at the same time as well as being a good team player.

Qualifications
• Four year university degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science and/or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience of the life cycle of Software Development.
• A good understanding of information modeling
• Knowledge in state of the art debugging technologies and coding technologies.
• Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written
• The ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environment.

We think you have a very good aptitude and ability to learn and pick up new technology and concepts quickly. You follow-up and seek the root cause of issues that occurs. You also have good communication skills as well as social skills.
