The Role
We are looking for a backend developer with deep passion for analytics and data processing. In this role, you will be building Nordnet’s brain, making us smarter in understanding our customers and their needs. You will be working in a small team of backend engineers, closely together with our analytics and product team.

This is you
You get excited about the idea of using data to automate and smoothen manual processes. You like finding patterns and ease complicated processes by developing smart systems. You might have experiences in machine learning or have an interest in taking your algorithms to the next level by learning new techniques. You are a doer and want to work in a small team with other backend developers who are as passionated as you about using data to create the world’s best user experience.

As a developer you:

• Have an M.Sc. or PhD in computer science, engineering physics, mathematics or equivalent
• Have experience with machine learning, clustering algorithms or recommendation systems
• Are passionate about backend development and data processing.
• Are used to working in agile teams, in an high performing environment
• Believe in test driven development

Tools
You have an Intellij or other IDE/text editor in which you comfortable know your way around. You are familiar with issue tracking, web based hosting for projects and team collaboration software.
