Android Platform Development Engineer

We are looking for skilled Android platform development engineers to join our team and help build a platform for next generation vehicle user experience. You will play an important part in building up a new development organization from the ground up, providing insight in engineering practice, implementing new features and improving performance.What you’ll do Collaborate with a small, autonomous team of developers, UX-designers, and product owners to find end-to-end solutions to important problems Implement these solutions for our Android application platform, adhering to Android development best practices Help your team solve problems in a way that makes sense for users in our target group and our codebase Who you are You have a deep understanding of modern Android platform development You know how to write readable, maintainable, C, C++ and Java code You are experienced with Android development tools including NDK You care about quality and you know what it means to ship high-quality code - M.Sc in Electrical and/or Software Engineering or similar relevant experience - At least 3 years of experience from working in the field of software development, requirement handling within electrical and/or software projects (Java, C++, C etc) - Experience from Embedded Linux Development - Efficient SW test methods, including automated unit and integration testing - Experience from connectivity technologies like Bluetooth stacks, WiFi and phone mirroring technologies - Object oriented design / Design patterns - Agile software development - Fluent in English (written and spoken)
