Software Engineer at Sony, Lund, Sweden

The Modem team inLundis responsible for delivering state of the art functionality within the Telephony area for our European customers. We are a team of skilled engineers with experience ranging from a few years all up to 20 years in the area. Our team is facing great new challenges as new mobile network features are being launched or are on the verge of being launched.

Responsibilities: 

We are now searching for engaged developers to join our team. You will be part of a team of SW developers and network signaling experts in a project based environment, working with development and trouble shooting. If you want to work with latest state of the art telecommunication features like LTE, VoLTE and IMS this is the team to be in!

Desired qualifications include:

• Four year university degree in SW engineering or similar level of education.
• Experience in Java or C/C++.
• Fluent in spoken and written English

In other words, no previous work experience is required but we put great emphasis on finding a person that has a genuine interest to dive in to the details of this area. We also put high focus on finding a candidate with a positive and curious mindset that is willing to take full ownership on the tasks given.
