BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

• You have a BSc or MSc in Computer science
• You have solid experience in software development
• Experience in agile software development
• You also have a wide experience in embedded software development, object-oriented
analysis and design
• Experience with unit testing is a plus
• Experience working within the robotic field is a plus

PERSONALITY REQUIREMENTS

To succeed in this position you should be passionate about programming. You are also creative, driven and like new challenges. JOB DESCRIPTION

As a software developer at Rocktec division you will work with control systems and automation solutions for our Mining equipment, drill rigs, as well as loaders and trucks. The work includes software development, design, simulation, testing and documentation. Our development ranges from on-board automation to autonomous systems.

To meet customer requirements we believe that customer visits and a continuous dialogue with the customer is a vital part of your job. All development is done in C++, C#. We have a lot of expertise in the group and knowledge sharing is a keyword within our teams.

You will be joining one of our Agile Software development teams. The Control systems development is concentrated in Örebro for Atlas Copco’s Mining and Rock excavation business area. Today there are 100+ developers at the automation department.
