Software Engineer

The Software Engineer is part of the Hosted Services Development team to support the maintenance and further development of Find and Insight (including Profile Store). The deliverables are services that require a high level of availability and scalability to support a growing customer base.

Contributing member of the development team which means:
• Contributes in archectural design discussions
• Implementing new functionality (including code changes, test automation, manual testing, deployment, documentation).
• Maintaining existing functionality, i.e. trouble shooting and resolving bugs.
• 3rd line support answering support escalations coming from developer support and managed services.
• Collaborate with peers to drive team assignments forward.

For this role you need to have:
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to collaborate with peers when building software and services
• Ability to communicate well within team as well as outside the team, verbally and in text.
• Self-motivated

You also need to have the following experience:
• Full stack .net developer
• Working experience of Java development
• Working experience with Linux and Windows.
• Working experience with Windows Azure
• Working experience with Elastic Search or similar search technology
• Working experience of building high availability and scalable services.
• English speaking with experience from a multilingual work environment
