As a software engineer, you will be a core pillar in building our tech platforms that support the group’s data driven marketing decisions. You will be working in a small and agile team with a high degree of freedom to solve the tasks at hand. Though the team is small you will have in house access to industry experts working for our different portfolio companies. You will have the flexibility and responsibility that you would find in a startup environment with the safety of a multi billion SEK e-commerce group.
We believe software should be composed rather than built which requires that you can see the whole picture while at the same time understand the details of how each component fit together. The role will give you direct contact with all aspects of software engineering from architecture design to monitoring, using a modern tech-stack with close to no technical debt.
You are not expected to be an expert but you are expected to have the capacity and willingness to become one.
Responsibilities:
Developing and deploying predictive machine learning models for our insights hub.
Designing and developing a testing framework for evaluation of said models
Developing visualization layers to expose models, tests results and analyses to the rest of the organization.
Support in the overall development of the insights hub
Skills:
An analytic mind and like to work with large data sets.
Master or Bachelor degree in either Computer science or Mathematics with a strong interest in both fields. Attitude is more important that than a formal education.
A good understanding of machine learning concepts and techniques.
Good communication skills in at least English, Swedish is a plus.
Familiar with *nix, spark, git, python, SQL, JavaScript, CSS3 & html5.
Experience with ReactJS, Golang, Kubernetes/GCE, Scala, R, Tensorflow, NLP, ETL, SEM, SEO and Social advertising is desirable but not required
You need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to executing things yourself.
