ABOUT THE ROLE

Academic Work is on behalf of our client Infor looking for a Back End Developer. As a developer at Infor, there are great opportunities to develop and grow among different areas based on your interests. The User Productivity team values collaboration and knowledge sharing to constantly develop and build new functionality using ground-breaking technology. The team works in an agile form according to SCRUM and you will work closely with your colleagues in both Linköping and Prague.

Academic Work is responsible for the recruitment process but the candidate that proceed will be employed directly by Infor.

JOB DUTIES

On a daily basis you’ll be challenged, and rewarded for coming up with amazing solutions. Most of your days will be spent building out new features on one of 2 different products. One is an amazing meta application that allows consultants to build applications on top of our existing api’s using a WSIWYG editor. You can drag data grids onto a page, plug a data source into it, and watch it fill with data. The other application is a high performance document management system that is used by almost all the other ERP’s at Infor. The tech stacks are Angular 1.6, 2, and 4 on top of Java backends with MS SQL and PostgreSQL databases. For our Cloud based offering Infor have a partnership with Amazon and utilize lots of their services as well as hosts in the Amazon Cloud.

For example, you will work with:

• Java 8 (soon 9)

• Building new features using best practices.

• Debugging issues that come up, and making intelligent choices about solutions.

• Documenting code that you write.

• Unit Testing code that you write.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Relevant education for the job, for example Computer Science degree.

• Professional experience with Java development.

• Genuine interest in and passion for programming and problem solving.

• Strong Enlish skills.

You are a person who likes to take responsibility and prefer to work in a team environment with both experienced and less experienced colleagues. You love problem solvning and set high goals for yourself. Furthermore, we also see that you have a customer-focused approach to create user-friendly and flexible solutions for Infors customers.
