Rails Developer (frontend)

We're seeking an amazing Rails developer to join iZettle at our HQ in Stockholm. In our tech team, which currently consists of about 45 people, you'll find self-directed teams within Test, DevOps, Android, iOS, Security, Backend, Support, Web and Project Management. We have a passionate, open and friendly culture and we're constantly reviewing our work, learning from each other, and sharing our knowledge.

The iZettle web team currently consists of three developers, three designers and a product manager and is facing exciting product changes during this year.

Responsibilities:

Joining our web team team, you will create smooth solutions and build responsive and elegant web interfaces on projects that reach hundreds of thousands of users. In doing this, you'll work closley with our UX designers, product owners, backend developers and other frontend engineers. We always strive to put the best solutions first, irrespective of cost or timeframe.

Requirements:

We're looking for a frontend developer who's truly passionate about the web and creating clean solutions. We assume that you have at least a few years of experience and BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. As an easy going and driven person, you'll be joining a small team of committed colleagues who're working to change the payment world.

• Experience of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Ruby on Rails
• Portfolio of recent web development work
• 2+ years of relevant work experience

Extra plus for knowledge of: Git, UX design, Responsive Design, sysadmin and scaling web apps for high traffic.
