ADB SAFEGATE is currently seeking a Software Developer to our office in Malmö, Sweden.
We are now strengthening our software team with a Software Developer.
In this role, you will be working with the embedded system software in the areas of Docking Guidance System (A-VDGS) and Individual Light Control and Monitoring System (ILCMS).
We are a small, specialized, ambitious and skilled software team located in Malmö. We work closely with our colleagues in other offices as well as with the team designing hardware and mechanics. The work is done within the team, but includes also contact with other departments.

Position description, Software Developer:
We are in the process of developing common software platforms for our Docking Guidance System (A-VDGS) and Individual Light Control and Monitoring System (ILCMS) as well as for our supporting tools. To give us a modern, maintainable software architecture. Our supporting tools is used at customer sites for commissioning, service and maintenance. You will have opportunity to follow the product all the way from requirement specification to operation at the customer.
In this work we are looking for you as one of our Software Developers.
Your tasks as a Software Developer include:
• Code, test and refactor
• Maintain and improve the performance of legacy software
• Do software design as part of the team
• During the system design phase, identify and plan manageable software tasks
• Meet project delivery dates
• Work closely with project managers, system designers and product specialists
• Improve the software development process
Competencies:

You are a problem solver, analytical, curious and responsible. You are a passionate Software Developer and really like to write code to solve problems. It is important that you enjoy working both independently and in teams.
Experience and background:
• Requires at least a Bachelor degree or equivalent, in a related Engineering discipline or Computer Science
• Experience of embedded and “real-time” systems is beneficial
• Looking for you newly graduated as well as you with extensive programming experience
• Good knowledge of C++, C# and/or C
• Knowledge of object oriented design, patterns and UML
• Experience in Agile and Scrum development practices
• Fluent in English, verbally and in writing. Swedish, German and/or additional languages is an asset.
