Experienced SW Developer Continuous Integration (210028)

Product Development Baseband (PD BB) is part of Product Development Unit 4G & 5G (PDU 4G&5G) and responsible for driving baseband software product development end to end by having competence and capability to take on full feature responsibility i.e. enabling feature requirements to become fully implemented and verified. This includes product ownership of the 4G and 5G baseband SW products as well as responsibility for development plans and securing maintenance of the products. We are based in Stockholm.

Position Summary
As a Developer working with Continuous Integration, CI, Automation, you will develop and maintain the module CI verification product for the LTE and 5G baseband system. This includes development activities like requirement analysis, specification of test system, configuration of test system, design of test cases, SW coding, verification, and configuration management. With a high quality CI, we secure that we have a working system at all times.

In this position you will part of the time be working in a team that has the responsibility for adding functionality and maintaining the continuous integration to ensure a good flow in development. The other part of the time will be spent supporting development of new LTA and 5G features in a cross functional team, to secure that there is new functionality added in CI to have a sufficient test coverage. In both cases your role will primarily be to do systemization on CI level, implementation and together with the team secure the functionality in an integrated system. A successful candidate will be highly motivated, autonomous, and innovative. You will be part of a dynamic team working on the implementation and enhancement of CI verification software for LTE and 5G technology. It is necessary to be flexible and to be able to handle the work needed for the team to achieve its goals.

Responsibilities & Tasks
Implementation of LTE/5G module CI functionality within baseband
5G/LTE feature systemization and participate in pre-studies as needed with focus on CI
Analyse new requirements from new features
Handle and configure the system test plant
Handle and configure the test environment
Develop and maintain high quality CI
Drive continuous improvements of products and processes

Position Qualifications

Core Competences:
Strong Java programming skills and interest
Knowledge of JCAT and RM/MJE
Configuration and handling of system test plants
Handling of test tools like UcTool, Cobham
Real time embedded systems is an advantage

LTE baseband knowledge, e.g. signal processing knowledge, 3GPP specifications

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
BSc level (MSc preferred) in a technical discipline or the equivalent level of knowledge
