You will be employed within B & P Fund Services, a company owned by Brummer & Partners AB which supports the capital managers and insurance company with infrastructure and administrative services.

Arbetsuppgifter:

As Business Analyst, you will be part of a team responsible for innovating, developing and delivering solutions to Brummer Fund Services Operations team and the investment managers that the team services. You work as the bridge between system development and middle/back-office/fund accounting operations business, helping to translate process and business requirements into sustainable IT solutions.
You work in our selected portfolio management system Calypso, the leading technology platform for cross asset trading, accounting-, and trade lifecycle processing software. You interact with major players in the financial markets such as banks and trade execution and matching platforms with the aim to implement integrations and STP solutions.

Essential Job Functions
• Participates in the automation, regulatory obligation, process efficiency and control enhancement projects
• Oversees and examines current business processes and makes recommendations for quality improvements and efficiency increase
• Gathers and documents business and functional requirements
• Communicates with stakeholders
• Works closely with system development with the responsibility of quality assurance
• Communicates with Calypso to engage in deficiency reporting and requirement specifications
• Performs other duties as assigned

Profil:

• Master/Bachelor of Science
• Knowledge in Excel VBA, relational databases (e.g. MS SQL)
• Basic knowledge of programming where JAVA is a merit
• Strong spoken and written communication skills
• Experience with financial portfolio management systems e.g. Calypso, Front Arena, WallStreet, Simcorp Dimension, K+, Murex etc is a merit.
• Understanding of middle/back-office operations in asset management industry is a merit
• Understanding of financial markets trading throughout the whole transaction lifecycle, across multiple asset classes is a merit
