Senior Java Developer

As a Senior Java Developer in Monocl Software, you will be given the opportunity to play a key role in our R&D team and in improving our SaaS platform Monocl EGO to enable long-term success. You will work tightly and systematically with our small development team to improve and expand the platform’s features and capabilities. Integration of new data sources and external solutions is an important part of the job as we continuously strive to push challenging technological boundaries. Our ground-breaking architecture currently features technologies such as Neo4j, Elastic Stack and Apache Spark.

Requirements

– 5+ years of systems development experience with a strong track record
– Experience of building scalable applications within a modern web stack/micro services architecture, preferably from high-growth companies
– Previous experience from machine learning and distributed computing
– Experience of NoSQL technologies
– Hands-on personality with excellent drive and an ambition to always walk the extra mile
– Business oriented mind-set with past experience of working towards clear goals and milestones
– Solid writing and communication skills in English
– Completed upper secondary studies and completed relevant university or vocational education
