Ikano Bank is looking to strengthen and transform their architectural landscape and we are therefore looking for several lead architects. Ikano Bank faces a unique and extremely exciting challenge where they in a short period of time are transforming themselves from many smaller banks and IT environments to a single one. This means that the financial elements that are so critical for a bank will have to be based upon a common architectural platform with integrated processes and a high level of compliance.

The integration architect is a key player who’s work will set the base for the future system landscape within the bank. You will be given a unique opportunity to work with major changes in a rapidly growing bank, where you are expected to take a major responsibility in both the short and long term. You will be able to affect your future role and you will be a permanent member of the Design Authority board. We expect that you will eventually be the hub of the organization in which you along with appropriate stakeholders within IT and business take ultimate responsibility in how integration architecture can help transforming the integration landscape within Ikano Bank. Your work will set the foundation in how the future application landscape will be structured and which integration standards are set up to optimize the integration structure within Ikano Bank.

Your future role

In your role as lead architect you will be working in close collaboration with all lead architects together with Head of Enterprise Architecture, to ensure enterprise view and definition of common/aligned transformation roadmaps. In this role you are expected to secure integration architecture, from business, information and technology point of view. You will describe architectural design patterns and frameworks which will explain the integration selection and development. Setting standards and ensuring reusable patterns and interfaces to ensure an optimal integration structure will be one of the most important parts of the role. To contribute with input for development methods and implementation of new solutions is essential and a part of the role where you can make a great impact.

Your qualifications

We see that you have a BSc or MSc in IT, Engineering or informatics. You have a documented architect background and proven experience from working with Application Architecture and an architectural framework, e.g. TOGAF for 3-5 years. Documentation is in English and internal and external contacts will be international - therefore you must be able to master English fluently.

• Knowledge in SOA architecture
• Skills in lean and agile development methods
• Knowledge about design patterns for integration
• Knowledge in .Net, Java, Oracle and SQL server
• Knowledge and experience of financial sector is an advantage

The role is a permanent position based in Lund – however Ikano Bank is re-locating to Hyllie, Malmö in 2015. Some travel is required to meet with the other IT and business units. The Lead Application Architect will report to the Head of Application Development and Maintenance.
