Software developer with a thirst for knowledge to Kalmar!

Perido is looking for a software developer who wants to become part of the development team at one of our clients. With businesses across the globe, this company is leading the way in the development of innovative technologies, design and manufacturing. The company has several offices in Sweden and as a software developer you will be part of the development team located in the south-east part of the country, in Kalmar. The team in Kalmar focus on producing hardware platforms and software solutions within the Datacom and Telecom industries.

In this position you will be part of a team that handle maintenance as well as further development of one of the company’s products – a Windows program used to configurate, simulate and optimize digital products. This is a .NET application written in C# with the graphic framework WPF, but programming in Python and MATLAB might occur as well. As a software developer you are offered a varied role, handling tasks such as traditional bug fixing, smaller changes and support for new products. If there are tasks that you do not already know, you will get the opportunity to learn these as you work close together with more experienced and skilled colleagues. The team works agile and use Git as version control system. As a part of the development team you will also have the possibility to take part in bigger research projects, projects that in the past have led to patented algorithms.

We believe that the right person for this position has a genuine interest for technology with a strong desire to keep improving your skills within the field. Perhaps you have just finished your university degree or have had the time to gain a few years of experience, the most important thing is that you have good knowledge in programming and want to learn more languages and frameworks. You enjoy being part of a team with the possibility to exchange skills and experiences.
