Research Engineer

As a Research Engineer, your accountabilities will include:
• Take initiatives to find pragmatic and cost effective solutions to problems
• Apply research in scientific and technological fields to facilitate future product development
• Ensure transfer of knowledge to other groups or departments involved in R&D
• Document your work and improve development and research workflows
• Provide effective prototyping capabilities to help drive product innovation
• Develop and maintain deep domain expertise within the security field
• Ensure analysis platform scalability and detection capabilities
• Contribute to release management, quality assurance and deployment of the platform

As a Research Engineer your skills and qualifications will include:
• Strong programming skills (using Java/Python) and experience with development tool
• Experience in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence
• Experience with streaming frameworks (Esper/Spark/Storm)
• Very strong and demonstrable experience in the MSS domain for advanced security services
• Language skills: Fluent in English, spoken and written Swedish.
• Education: BS or above in Computer Science or related technical field or working experience
