The function of the department is to develop concepts, functions, system solutions and components for the cars within its area of responsibility, according to the defined PSS structure. These entities are delivered to vehicle programs in accordance with agreed orders.

 

The group Analysis and Verification is a part of the section Switches and Comfort Electronics which is responsible for the subsystems, Climate Control, Parking Climate, Seat-, Window-, Mirror-, Roof- Control, User Input and Interior Lights. The group Analysis and Verification today includes 12 persons and we are responsible for A&V of all systems in the section.

 

As a Senior A&V Engineer you will be responsible for embedded system testing. This responsibility includes transforming requirements into a methodology for how subsystems shall be tested and verified. Working with method development and building test equipment is an important part of the job. Our project delivery consists of analysis and error reporting from bench systems, HIL-system and vehicle testing. Our aim within the A&V department is to take the next step by further growing our level of automatization.

 

You will be given a testing area to grow into, manage and build up knowledge. Working with system testing means that you establish and develop relationships with designers and suppliers within different system areas of the vehicle as well as building an understanding of the designs within those areas in different projects. Working agile and proactive is our focus in the group and you will be an active part of improving our day to day ways of working.

 

Who are we looking for

 
* M.Sc or B.Sc. within electronics, physics, mechatronic or equivalent with 7-8 years of relevant work experience from software development and system design, preferably within the automotive industry
* Programming skills preferably in C/C++
* Solid experience of software system/component testing
* Previous automatization of processes
* Knowledge on tools and concepts within the automotive industry such as: Vector tools CANalyzer, CANoe or INCA. Diagnostics, Software download, LIN, CAN, FlexRay is meritorious
* Certified by “International Software Testing Qualifications Board” (ISTQB) is meritorious
* Team player with excellent communication skills
* Organized and structured in the follow-up work
* Problem solving skills
* Positive attitude and energy
* Valid driver’s license
