Junior Software Developer

About the job
We are looking for someone who wants to kick start their career as a developer!
We collaborate with our customer to find the next generation developer in the area of telecommunication. The customer has a prominent position on the market and provides and develops innovative communication solutions for the connected community.
You will work with design, test, deployment, maintenance and code refactoring. The different teams on this project are involved in all steps of development, from pre-study to deployment. Among the tasks are: open source solutions tailored to proprietary HW, contribute and commit updates to e.g. the LLVM compiler and the in-house developed kernel, GDB debugger tailored to the customer’s needs etc. The kernel is an in house developed RTOS tailored for the many-core platform and enables concurrent applications to make full use of the massively parallel HW.
It's a cooperation between ÅF and one of our largest customers. You will get the opportunity to join a team where you will be able to grow in the role as a developer, since you will be surrounded by more experienced colleges with expert knowledge!

Who are you?
You should have a degree in Computer Science or similar. The role does not require any previous experience but you will aspire to become a successful and competent developer.
Your profile:

Good knowledge in general purpose programming languages such as C/C++, Java and Python.
BSc or MSc level in Computer Science or equivalent level knowledge
Good communication skills in verbal and written English

It’s highly appreciated and a big plus if you have experience from, or interest in, programming of embedded systems, debugger technologies and working with open source based build systems and SW components.
As a person, you are communicative and have a strong drive to learn. You have a solid will to succeed but never lets prestige come in your way. You also take a personal interest in improving your surroundings. Together we have fun at work!
