System designer / LabVIEW developer to Atlas Copco

OM TJÄNSTEN
Academic Work is looking for a system designer/ LabVIEW developer to our client Atlas Copco, at the Rocktec division, since one or their employers has moved on in the career.
Rocktec is a division within the Atlas Copco Mining and Rock Excavation Business Area that provides equipment for drilling and rock excavation, a complete range of related consumables and service through a global network. The business area innovates for sustainable productivity in surface and underground mining, infrastructure, civil works, well drilling and geotechnical applications. Principal product development and manufacturing units are located in Sweden, the United States, Canada, China and India. Within Rocktec, unique competences in Applied Mechanics, Materials, Measurement Technique, Industrial Design and Patent are present. These special competences also have their own laboratories and work as internal consultants for the whole business area and are placed in Örebro, Sweden.

This job is a staffing position, which means that you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at Atlas Copco.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As a system developer / LabVIEW programmer, you will claim system specifications and programming systems. Your job is to develop test systems for control and measurements, calibrations etc. You will also be working with SQL in databases to collect all the data regarding the systems and machines.

For example, you will:

* Develop systems in LabVIEW
* Discuss changes and requirement specifications of test laboratories
* Do risk analysis for test laboratories regarding both hard – and software

I normal day at work consist of developing different test systems with several computers in mechanical and/or hydraulic sub systems. A test department performs tests and normally you are working with maximum four projects at the same time, depending of the sizes. You will cooperate with different departments where the lab is a big part.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
We are looking for you who has a relevant education. We think that you are an engineer or system developer who has a great interest in programming.

* Have 1-3 years experience of LabVIEW-programming or, if you are newly graduated, worked with LabVIEW during your thesis
* Have very good knowledge in English, written and spoken

It will be considered an additional qualification if you:

* Have knowledge in CompactDAQ or CompactRIO and real time programming tehcniques
* Have knowledge about SQL- language and techniques
* Have knowledge about CE certification for laboratories and risk assessments.
* Have knowledge in Swedish
