The BaseTech Software Development group in Lund currently consists of 17 people and we work with the core electrical functionality in the car. The main focus for the group is to perform design and implementation work for the next generation of the electrical architecture that will enable the digital transformation of the entire car. This new architecture is key for enabling for example advanced connectivity features, machine learning capabilities and autonomous drive.
We need to grow this team with both junior and senior developers in different domains and are therefore looking for open-minded and curious talents within the areas of:
- OS platforms (Linux/QNX and various RTOS’es), SoC level drivers
- Runtime environments, Platforms
- Cloud, Big Data and Backend development
Required qualifications
* University degree in Electrical or Computer engineering or equivalent experience
* Excellent skills in English, both verbally and in writing
* Programming skills, e.g. C, C++, Rust, Scripting, Functional languages – preferably knowledge in several programming languages or a strong drive to learn new things
* Experience from standard version control systems (Git, Gitlab), build systems (Make/CMake), and release management tools such as Jenkins, Jira
Meritorious qualifications:
* Development of embedded systems (ARM, x86, or other)
* Embedded Linux Development and debugging skills.
* Knowledge about ISO26262, MISRA, and safety critical application development
* Automotive experience
* Cloud, Database knowledge, Backend development
* Experience with Docker and container based build infrastructures
* Driver’s license (B-level)

* Team player with strong problem solving skills and desire to work in fast evolving environment
* Curious and willing to learn new things
* Holistic view and conceptual thinking
* High integrity and professionalism
